Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day
April 11th (COMMUNITY SERVICE) from 7:00pm-8:30pm
Featuring special guest Dr. Erika Hughes, who will address the impact of teaching Holocaust history through the arts. Also featured will be an excerpt from the groundbreaking play by Wendy Kout entitled Survivors, which was commissioned by the JCC and features the direct testimony of Rochester survivors of the Holocaust.

Join us for lunch and another opportunity to learn with Dr. Erika Hughes as she covers "Speaking Resistance: Performance, the Holocaust and Contemporary Jewish Identity." This program is presented by the Center for Holocaust Awareness and Information (CHAI) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and co-sponsored by the Louis S. Wolk JCC.
