Nearly one year ago, we witnessed the deadliest act of antisemitism in North American history, as the lives of 11 innocent congregants were taken during prayer at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. This year, in their memory, we respond with solidarity and hope.
Across the country, on October 25-26, Federations and communities will stand together to remember the lives lost and forever altered at the hands of hate.
In Rochester, synagogues across our community are observing Solidarity Shabbat. Join us as we stand with Pittsburgh. Attend Shabbat services. Come together with family and friends for Shabbat dinner. Do good deeds in the names of those who were killed.
