Naftali Hanau is the CEO of Grow & Behold, the Brooklyn-based purveyor of fine kosher-pastured meats raised on family farms with no hormones or antibiotics. He has developed a line of provisions (sausages, deli meats, salami, etc.) using his own spice blends. A shochet and menaker, Naftali has learned with experts across the country. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his family. He is a proud graduate of Hillel Community Day School
Mitch Gruber is the Chief Strategy Officer at Foodlink, Rochester's regional food bank, and a member of Rochester's City Council. He completed a PhD in history at the U of R, tracing the history of food retail in urban America. His work in academia, non-profit, and government all aims to build more just, equitable food systems in Rochester. For this, he was appointed to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's Council on Hunger and Food Policy. He and his wife, Amy, live in Rochester. He is a proud graduate of Hillel Community Day School
