(((SEMITISM))) Being Jewish in America in the Age of Trump Jonathan_Weisman
(St. Martin’s Press, 2018)

In (((Semitism))), veteran Washington journalist Jonathan Weisman catalogues what American Jews need to understand about the alt-right and its use of the Internet, and offers a range of responses for dealing with these emboldened purveyors of hatred and discord. Weisman, like many other Jewish writers and artists, has even co-opted the (((echo))), the triple parentheses that the alt-right uses online to identify Jewish individuals and/or organizations that it thinks are run by Jews. As Jane Eisner, editor-in-chief of The Forward wrote in her Washington Post review, “Weisman rightly ponders when and how a minority’s hateful views can infiltrate the mainstream.”
