TBK will lead Reform Jewish worship, education and healing - acts l’dor va’dor, from one generation to the next.

Temple B’rith Kodesh is a vibrant Reform synagogue with deep roots within the Greater Rochester community, where Ve’ahavta l’re’echa kamocha “Love your neighbor as yourself” informs all that we do.  Our diverse membership creates a welcoming home for every individual to embrace God, share Jewish values, and join a tradition of reaching out to repair our world.  Temple leadership, congregant led committees, and social groups create opportunities for personal growth and to establish friendships to last a lifetime.  Our community supports a strong State of Israel and its essential role in assuring peace, respect, and tikkun olam for the international Jewish community and all peoples of our world.

Temple B'rith Kodesh was founded in 1848 as an Orthodox synagogue with 12 members. It is the oldest Jewish congregation and the largest Reform temple in the greater Rochester area.
