We will learn about the history of the State of Israel, which was established in 1948 following World War II and the Holocaust, as the only safe haven for the Jewish people. We will also explore the significance of this month’s Yoms: Holocaust Memorial Day, Israel’s Memorial Day, and Israel’s Independence Day.
