From the beginning, Jewish spirituality has been deeply rooted in our relationship to the natural world. Our calendar and holidays reflect the changing seasons of the earth and our liturgy extols the wonder of creation.
In this four part Elul series, Rabbi Drorah Setel will lead discussions on biblical, rabbinic, mystical, and contemporary texts that can teach us how to grow spiritually as we deepen our connection to the cosmos. The same series is offered on both Tuesday mornings in person at the JCC and on Wednesday evenings online via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to join either series – no prior knowledge is required. Free and open to the community.
