The Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester is committed to accountability, transparency, and sound fiscal management practices.
We have received a 4-star rating, the highest possible, from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities. This “exceptional” rating indicates that we adhere to good governance and consistently execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way.

Thank you to ALL our donors. It is because of your generosity and support that the Federation is able to do what we do today, tomorrow, and in the future. View our donor lists from past years, in both complete and segmented formats.
Every year we come together for our combined Annual Meeting to celebrate and recognize all that we achieved with our partner organizations including the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester, Hillel Community Day School, Jewish Family Services, Jewish Senior Life, and Louis S. Please note that among the other items to be voted on by the members at this year's annual meeting, we will be asking the Federation membership to approve a resolution to amend and restate our Certificate of Incorporation (COI). The proposed amendment and restatement will: (a) delete the current COI provision that fixes a minimum and maximum number of Directors; and (b) consolidate the original COI and previous amendments into a single document. The Board of Directors has approved the proposed Restated Certificate of Incorporation and recommended its approval by membership. A copy of the proposed Restated Certificate of Incorporation and the Board Resolution of approval is available below.
