Jewish Education and Engagement

 

The Jewish Education and Engagement Department of the Federation offers a resource to all those interested in Jewish learning throughout Rochester. We provide programming for families, teens and adults in addition to support for area youth groups and Jewish educators.

 

 

  • Opportunities for teens such as community service projects, Israel experiences and activities bridging denominations.

 

  • Consultation and support to community institutions.

 

  • Jan Katz Grinspoon Award for Excellence in Jewish Education

PJOW Apple Picking

    Enroll your child, aged six months to eight years, and receive free Jewish-content books and CDs mailed monthly to your home.

  • Adults

    The Federation sponsors periodic adult education experiences in collaboration with the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School.

  • Teens

    Through JewishTeensROC we offer lots of opportunities for teens to gather, learn and perform community service. ALL teens in Jewish Rochester are welcome to participate!
