I recently returned from a 10-day fact finding Israel Mission with 24 Jewish Federation professionals from all over North America. I am a well-seasoned Israel traveler, having lived in Israel for seven years, having served in the Israel Defense Forces, studied in university and high school, and spent 21 years on trips as a Jewish communal services professional. I’m always astounded that despite Israel’s small size and my many trips, that there is so much to see and do. Things I’ve experienced before have taken on new meaning and relevance and visits to see new sites are simply fantastic.
