Making a world of difference.
Welcome to the world of Jewish Federation where the values of compassion, charity, generosity and responsibility inspire us to improve the quality of life for people in Rochester, in Israel and in over 70 countries every day. Whether caring for people in need or nurturing and sustaining Jewish identity for future generations, this is where our community comes together as one.

From cutting edge programming like the PJ Library and the Rochester Jewish Coalition for Literacy, to our support of five local agencies, programs for synagogue youth and interfaith initiatives for the entire community, the Rochester Federation plays a leading role in advancing the agenda for a diverse peoplehood.
In Israel, our Federation supplies tens of thousands of dollars to support PACT (Parents and Children Together), ensuring possibilities for several hundred children, ages 0-6, of Ethiopian parentage. In the former Soviet Union and for remnant Jewish populations worldwide, the Federation movement is on the ground to combat hunger, provide heating fuel and vital medical care. We help to build Jewish life around the globe.
