Next up in this year's Israel speaker series is a presentation by Dr. Reuven Hazan on February 6th, entitled "The Headlines: What's the News of the Day and What does it Mean for Israel?" The series "Israel 2012" is sponsored by the Federation's Community Relations Committee. Reuven Hazan, a favorite with Rochester audiences with a genius for making complex political dynamics comprehensible, is a professor of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The PJ Library® in Rochester now boasts over 600 happy members! Since its official kick-off in March, PJ, a program that provides the free gift of a Jewish book or CD mailed to the home every month, has signed up in excess of 600 members in the Greater Rochester area to date.
