The Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation has made a generous matching gift to the Federation's annual UJA Federation Campaign. The Farash Foundation will contribute up to a total of $250,000 by matching all new gifts, as well as all increased dollars, to the 2012 Campaign. “We are very grateful that the Farash Foundation has chosen to express their support for the innovative work we do to maintain a strong and vibrant Jewish community,” said Carolyn Nussbaum, current Federation president. “Their matching gift serves as an inspiration, and a challenge, to us all."
Rochester's 2012 UJA Federation Campaign has seen a resurgence to date, with giving up approximately 10% compared to 2011, on a gift-for-gift basis (in aggregate). Many thanks to our generous community of donors!
